Where can we park in Veszprém?
Car parks for cars and buses - free of charge and for a fee

Like most cities, Veszprém is divided into parking zones. This also means different prices for parking within the city centre. In general, you pay for parking during the week between 7am and 5pm, and in the red zone additionally on Saturdays from 7am to 12pm.
During the week from 5 pm, and in the yellow and green zones at weekends and on public holidays, parking is free all day! (Without guarantee)

You can park for free in the parking zones during the week from 5 pm, at weekends and on official public holidays. In the red zone, you also pay to park on Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 12 noon.
Official bus parking
The official bus car park is in Köd Straße. Approach marked by small yellow ‘Bus’ signs. There is a charge
during the week between 7am and 5pm.
For our guests travelling with their own coach, we recommend the official coach park in Köd Street (chargeable during the week). This is only a few minutes away from the city centre and Óváros tér (meeting point with the tour guide).
Other possible bus parking spaces (free of charge):
- At the zoo (upper or lower entrance)
- Car park in Úrkút Street (more for minibuses)
- Parking by car
If you come to the city by car, you will easily find a parking space. Maybe not right below the castle on Óváros Square, but no problem - there are no great distances in Veszprém! In the city centre, i.e. in the immediate vicinity, there are plenty of other parking spaces.
During the week it can be a bit more problematic! You may have to drive through several car parks until you find a free space. It's good that they are so close together!
Free parking by car
- Car park under the castle in Pajta Street - close to the castle and the valley of the Séd stream
- Animal park, lower entrance in Kittemberger K. Street: city centre approx. 20 minutes away. Partly free, but quickly overcrowded at weekends.
